This private Persian violin class is only for Intermediate and advanced levels.
Each online lesson takes place between the teacher and one student for either 30 or 60 minutes.
As a beginner student, you must know the fundamentals, including the right way to hold the violin, correct bow hold and finger placement, reading music, and rhythm.
In this course, intermediate and advanced students continue to progress with increased proficiency in techniques and significant repertoire. Our Persian violin class covers the following subjects:
Note reading and recognition
Counting, rhythm reading
Technique (scales, arpeggios, trill, tekiyeh)
Sight reading
Rudiments of Theory
Memorization
Ear training
Repertoire:
Selecting repertoire is one of the most challenging and important tasks that we take on in the development of our student’s musical education. Students at all levels will be given a repertoire selection from multiple eras of music (Traditional, Folk) to study and perfect.
