This private tombak class is only for Intermediate and advanced levels. Each online lesson takes place between one teacher and one student for either 30 or 60 minutes.
Learn how to play the tombak through one of our comprehensive methods that takes you through a progressive approach, addressing technique, musicality, and so much more.
As an Intermediate student, you must know the fundamentals, including the correct way to hold the tombak and finger placement, reading music, and common rhythms in music.
In this course, intermediate and advanced students will continue progressing with increased proficiency in techniques and significant repertoire. Our tombak curriculum covers the following subjects:
Note reading and recognition
Counting, rhythm reading
Technique
Rudiments of Theory
Memorization

You need to be at an intermediate or advanced level
The most important part of music study takes place at home; the more you practice, the better you will be

- You have to be almost at the intermediate level in playing Tombak.
