At Farabius, Ali offers individualized Daf and Tombak lessons, welcoming students of all ages and skill levels. Each online Daf lesson lasts for either 30, 45, or 60 minutes. Ali’s approach emphasizes developing strong foundational skills, which students apply to diverse musical pieces. He engages students with interesting exercises, covering techniques, rhythms, sight-reading, and more. Lesson plans are tailored to each student’s age, experience, goals, and learning style.

Beginner students focus on the basics, such as instrument handling, finger placement, music reading, and simple rhythms. Intermediate students explore various Daf Maqams and are encouraged to compose short pieces, building their creativity and knowledge.
