The Farabius Academy of Music provides one-on-one instruction sessions. All students are taught basic voice techniques, postures, technical exercises, and repertoire.

Program Information

We will offer you many new and exciting musical opportunities. This program is perfect if you want to improve your technique, expand your vocal range, discover your potential,  and make a significant repertoire. Our qualified teachers can help you achieve your goals and create a program based on your vocal range and musical interests.

Each online vocal lesson takes place between one teacher and one student for either 30, 45, or 60 minutes. For children's sessions, parents can attend their child's classes.

Goals

Our goal is to develop our students to their highest musical level through private lessons. Creating the correct foundation for technique and appropriate repertoire is of utmost importance. Beginner students start with the fundamentals of voice techniques, including correct breath, proper posture, vocalization, reading music, and learning simple songs. Advanced and experienced students continue to progress, enhancing their proficiency in vocal techniques, diction and significant repertoire. Our voice class covers the following subjects:

• Note reading and recognition
• Counting, rhythm reading
• Technique (breathing, vibration, dynamic, resonance)
• Sight-reading
• Rudiments of Theory
• Memorization
• Ear training

Levels / Ages offered

The Farabius Academy of Music provides online private voice lessons at all levels and ages. Enthusiasts can become students, start learning with no prior experience in music and work their way up to a professional level. We provide a wide range and variety of learning styles and difficulty levels for our students to make sure each individual can grow at their own pace.

Repertoire

Selecting repertoire is one of the most challenging and important tasks that we take on in the development of our student's musical education. Each coach is highly trained and ready to tailor-make a lesson plan for you while still following the curriculum principles that have always led to success. Students at all levels will be given a selection of repertoire from multiple eras of music to study and perfect.
