Getting to know what you want from learning music is a critical factor for your lessons.
At the Farabius, Milad offers individual lessons for Tar and Setar. He has been teaching music for several years and enjoys working with students of all ages and abilities to help them discover their creativity. His goal is to deliver high-level instruction that inspires students. Lesson plans integrate a logical technical progression and a repertoire that suits your music goals. He is very flexible, open to suggestions, and makes lessons about your journey rather than simply following a generic pre-planned route.
Beginner students start with the fundamentals, like holding the instrument, posture and mallet (mezrab), finger placement, reading music, technical exercises, and learning simple songs. Intermediate and advanced students continue to progress with increased proficiency in techniques, radif and significant Iranian repertoire.
Students at all levels will be given a repertoire selection from multiple eras of music (Traditional and Folk) to study and perfect.
Each online lesson takes place between the teacher and student for either 30 or 60 minutes. For children's sessions, parents can attend their child's classes.
