Each online Tombak lesson is held one-on-one with Ali, either for 30, 45 or 60 minutes. Parents are welcome to attend children's sessions.

At Farabius, Ali offers individual lessons for Tombak and Daf. He enjoys teaching students of all ages and levels and is dedicated to providing the best possible music education for each student. His goal is to deliver high-level instruction that truly inspires students. Ali’s teaching approach emphasizes the development of fundamental skills and their application to various musical pieces. This is accomplished through engaging exercises, such as learning techniques, simple and compound rhythms, sight-reading, and more. Each lesson plan is customized based on the student’s age, experience, goals, and learning style.
Beginner students start with the basics, like holding the instrument, finger placement, music reading, and rhythm. Intermediate and advanced students progress with advanced techniques and complex rhythms. Our Tombak classes cover the following topics:
